Psalm 36:6
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.
Psalm 90:2
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
I use to travel through Colorado quite often between 1996 and 2004. There are so many beautiful places in Colorado and pictures do not begin to do justice to Gods magnificent creation. There is one place between Wolf Creek Pass and Pagosa Springs where I loved to stop and pray. The picture above was taken late one evening at the overlook of which I speak. How could there not be a God when there is such beauty as this. One time while I was stopped there it began to snow pretty intensely. It was not long before I could not see the valley below. The solitude of standing on that overlook hearing nothing but Gods breath as the wind gently guided the snowflakes about me was immense. And so was born the inspiration for One Winters Dream. God has created such a wonderful place for us to live. We are responsible for taking care of his house so please do what you can to keep our world beautiful.
